its called being professional and doing your job  plc's dont allow mavericks, you do your job or you're out generally speaking - you dont bite the hand that feeds you, regardless of your personal preferences...
example, i like to drink beers completely different to the ones my company makes, doesnt make me a bad person or want to sabotage my employer, he pays my salary so i try my best for them.... easy ennit? ;)

That's a circular argument...

i.e.,

It's ok for them to be in that position, so long as they have the best interests of the club at heart... and they must have the best interests of the club at heart, because of the position they hold ! Self-fulfilling logic.

Most people in most plc have their own interests at heart. Many people work for plcs without giving a monkeys about them.

Football ain't like beer anyway.

so in that case YOU will promote, advertise and display and announce your firms rivals on their premises when they are present!!!! ? are you all for real?
I thoink the frim would disown you! But then you also go on to make decisions that antagonise the customers loyal to you???

Can we have some real world on here please?

Never did I ever support my firms competitors or opposition!

i AGREE proccy but there are things going wrong all round!I dont just think it is me..where's the st andrews family we had?Its now almost us and them ,with the players and sb with us!

When things are wrong they will not be criticised let alone correct them..

The tamp was played, look at the reaction, yet keith played that against instructions! Who has whose best interests at heart?

what are you talking about. yesterday was the best atmosphere for ages why do some people try and find conspiracies where there are none.

Keith played the tamp yesterday which would suggest he did so under instruction. would it not..

to be honest i'd be very disappointed if Keith was punished for tis if it was against instruction. As macthday announcer his job is to get the crowd going, with the best run out tunes etc.

The Tamperer was rightly brought back yesterday, and if any plonker at the top decides against it, i will be pi$shed of. I would still like to see Mr Blue Sky before the Tamperer though, and have said before that 'The Impossible Dream' may also get the players going, if your viewing this Keith **thumbup

surely for now "common sense" says ....  use Tamperer as teams walk out.  **thumbup

Hopefully that's what happened. i.e. common-sense prevailed.

I had assumed that the club had thought "S*d it, we've got more important things to worry about. Play whatever you think is best, Keith".

one i dont know why and two I have a far from boring life! I gave an opinion obviously one to which I am not entitled but you have also joined arguing the point! If I had all the answers the club and team would be fine but I will try some! Try it yourself BUD! Part of my boring life(as u put it) is my concern for everything to do with my club! If mine is then so is yours for following my every word! B)
